Half-Robe Dress

The idea behind this dress was to take some inspiration from both East Asian and Western traditions and marry the two together in a way that would be respectful to both.

Red and gold are popular colors for a bride to wear in some cultures.

In my never-ending quest to create nontraditional wedding attire, I thought that these colors would make for a lovely dress that is still somewhat rooted in a persons culture and traditions.

There are many people in western countries whose family and/or community have roots in more eastern parts of the world. This dress is for those people who want to incorporate both of the cultures they connect with into their wedding.
